“When the ax came into the forest…”

“When the ax came into the forest the trees said the handle is one of us.”
― Alice Walker

I thought I was done writing for today but I came across this quote on http://www.logicalquotes.com/alice-walker-quotes/ that reminded me of the current state of politics.  Most days it makes me feel ill to think about while the rest of the time I’m trying to avoid remembering the news I just heard(or the supposed facts that they call news now…).

We have a disgustingly large set of plain ignorant people here in America; I’m sad to say it.  I have no right judging people’s intellect but when somebody is so blatently being lied to I can’t help but call them the fool.  I wish I could go on ignoring the facts but every day there are more and more lies piling up that I’m always amazed that something drastic hasn’t happened yet…

  1. I never watch the news. I detest Politicians and Politics. I think, simply by observing how the populace ‘drink in’ the bullshit and fear that the media feed them daily, they forgot that somewhere, inside that tiny brain, is perhaps something called ‘QUESTION?’ I guess I’ve come to terms with the fact that we are fucked. No matter how we look at it, or where ever we are. Funnily enough, I’m really OK with that!! 🙂

  2. Great points! It’s disgusting how our environment is slowly being destroyed and our Government is doing jack shit to help. In fact, he’s making matters even WORSE!
